History: Came into rescue as feral kittens
Needs: A loving patient home, time to continue to gain confidence and trust.
Character: These lovely boys are very shy but very inquisitive, loving and beautiful cats who with time and patience will become great companions.
Gunner is the more confident of the two, he loves loves loves his head scratches, but only on his terms. He gives a sniff and then will very obviously give or deny permission with either a hefty headbutt into your palm (with lots of very loud purring and flopping over) or a gentle shying away until he soon changes his mind and gives in to the love. He likes his toys, but loves his treats!
Gideon has a strong, playful charming and overall great personality! He has so much love to give but it just takes him a while to build up that trust, but once you’re in there he is such a softie! He likes to start out sneaking his strokes in with his brother and then grows confidence to be stroked on his own. He loves playing, anything feathery or something he can catch and he’s in his element! He is constantly on the prowl, exploring, sniffing, climbing and trying to open things. He really is awesome. He’s come so so far, from not being touched for over a month with me, to now running for headscratches when I enter the room. He will make such an amazing companion, they both will.
Can I live with other cats? Yes
Can I live with other dogs? Yes, calm dogs with slow introduction
Can I live with children? 10+
Suitable for indoor only? Yes, suitable for indoor or outdoor. We would recommend an extended indoor period until they are fully settled and confident in their new home if they are to be allowed outside.
Adoption fee £220 for the pair
🐾❤️All our cats and kittens are triple vaccinated, neutered, (or included in the adoption fee for a future appointment) microchipped, flea and worm up to date and come with 5 weeks free insurance.
ALL follow up appointments, second vaccs and neutering are ALL carried out at Mirfield Donaldsons. Metecam/loxicom or collars are charged at owners request and chargeable upon collection.
Please be aware our rehoming process can be quick, please only apply if you are in a position to adopt imminently and able to go to MIRFIELD Donaldsons for the above. Please note your existing cats must be up to date on vaccinations – we will require proof upon application.
