Our names are Zorro and Zippi, and we need our new home

** We are a bonded pair and must be adopted together **

Available:

Gender: Both Male

DOB: March 2019

Colour: Zorro is brown/black Bengal.

Zippi is a seal mink Bengal.

History: They have been surrendered into rescue from a loving home, but need to be rehomed as they had started badly bullying another resident, female cat.

Needs: Either a Bengal savvy owner or someone who has done their research. They will need a large house with access to a catio, or possibly a very safe, rural garden.

Character: Both boys are quite shy at first, but they will soon learn to trust you and come for strokes, and they both have lovely purrs. Zorro has the cutest head wobble when he is concentrating on watching the squirrels and birds outside. He has always had this quirk, and the vet has confirmed that it really is just one of those things! He has the softest fur and is a big, gentle giant. Zippi is shyer and does like to find a place to hide until he feels confident and safe with you, and then he will come dashing over when you enter the room for a stroke. He is also quite chatty and does a little hiss and a growl but that’s just him saying hello, there is no malice in his little noises, I don’t think he realises he might come across as scary as he’s also a lovely softie! He was diagnosed with asthma several years ago but hasn’t had any need for his inhaler in 2-3 years. The vet has confirmed that his lungs sound perfect. However, to keep him healthy, it will be important that his new family don’t use diffusers or other scented products on a regular basis. They really aren’t lap cats but do approach for cuddles on their own terms. They are very clean in their litter tray and not greedy when it comes to their food. They like the laser light to chase and will occasionally bat a toy round but don’t play a lot. They do really enjoy looking out of the window, though, and watching the “Squirrel & Bird” live channel, though! To sum them up, they are a really lovely pair of chunky monkeys and will really blossom and show their personalities when they settle into their furrever home.
