My name is Sugar and I need my new home!
Available: After 30th October 2026
Gender: Female
Age: Approx 1 year
Colour: Snow white
My history:
Rescued from an unsuitable home but incompatible with rescuers home due to the needs of other resident cats.
Sugars needs:
Someone who understands Sugar is deaf so will need to adapt but other than that, not much, just a cosy lap to snooze on, a few springs and a laser light to chase.
Character:
Sugar absolutely lives up to her name, she is very sweet and utterly adorable.
She is very nosy and loves to follow you around and check out what you are up to and then she will be on your knee for a snooze as soon as you sit down. And if she can’t get on your lap, she will have a snooze behind you on the back of your chair or sofa!
She loves to play fetch with a spring and will bring it to you so you can join in her game. She also loves to chase the laser light and can get up quite a speed around the corners!
Because she is deaf, she has no idea how very loud and “shouty” she can be when she’s trying to tell you it’s breakfast time, so her new family will have to be prepared for that! She does like to check out all the shelves and high places when she first arrives, but then settles down really quickly and is very well behaved.
At approximately 1 year old, she is the perfect combination of inquisitive, playful, hilarious kitten but has all the advantages of any older cat, by being perfectly litter trained and able to be left without being destructive.
Can I live with other cats? A non-dominant gentle, patient cat
Can I live with other dogs? Untested
Can I live with children? Yes, as long as they understand about her deafness
Can I live indoors completely? Sugar must be an indoor only cat due to her deafness.
Minimum adoption donation: £100
